We are continually adding new equipment to our store. At Chemung Music we have added many new entry-level Johnson guitars along with the Johnson acoustic basses. I hope is to have what you need quality parts at a reasonable price.

We welcome any comments and suggestions as to what equipment you would like to see in our store. So far, you have been looking at acoustic guitars and folk instruments acoustic guitars and bluegrass instruments such as mandolins and banjos. We also carry a fine line of the resonators.

Our play in pitch program really does work!

in fact, it is working so well that we have decided bring it over to the Chemung music site as well.

On our play in pitch page we have a short video demonstration as to exactly how the program works. This short video will do more to show how the program works so please take a few minutes and check this out.

We are now offering the incredible line Violin Viola and Cello bows . These bows are extremely light approximately 40 grams this is the usual 60+ grams and are very easy to use. These bows were created and are manufactured by the E.W.Incredibow Company. Each bow is handmade to your specification and therefore takes up to four weeks for delivery.

As is shown on Chemung Music these bows are used on a veriaty of musical instruments including Violin,Fiddle, Viola, Cello, Dulcimer, Bowed Guitar, Psaltery,Musical Saw,Nickel Harp and Water Harp

Essential information about Incredibows:

1. We only make bows using Carbon Fiber sticks. We use NO WOOD in any bows, although we can make them LOOK like wood. (See Colors page for options)

2. We use NO Horsehair. ALL the "hair" is made of tough polymer filament designed to grab the strings well (when rosined) and last literally for YEARS! Bow AND hair is warranted to last a minimum of three years. Some musicians have regularly used the same Incredibow for four years now, without loss of even one hair! WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG THIS BOW WILL LAST WITH PROPER CARE.

3. All the bows bow "outward" and the hair is permanently tensioned. They are NOT designed for rehairing - if it wears out before three years we'll send you a new bow.

If you have special needs for our incredible, such a special tension or other needs, let us know and we will customize the bow for your use.
